Autism: Ways to Detoxify
November 9, 2008 |
Every day, our children are exposed to thousands of toxic compounds, metals and chemicals. These toxins include things such as mercury, lead, food additives, pesticides, vaccination toxins, and so on. In some children, especially those on the autism spectrum, these toxins build up in their systems. Some autistic children are genetically unable to detoxify sufficiently. This causes neurological, immune and digestive problems.
Toxic compounds also invade our air, water and even the soil in which our food grows. There are more than 77,000 chemicals in active production in America and more than 3,000 chemicals in our food supply. Our body cannot metabolize over 20,000 of these chemicals.
There are different ways to detoxify, such as:
- Chelation. Chelators are substances that bind to heavy metals. The two most common chelators used by medical professionals are transdermal DMPS and oral DMSA.
- Detoxifying clay baths.
- Far Infrared sauna.
- Water, esp Ionized water.
The solution- regular, effective, whole-body detoxification. To stay healthy and strong in this chemical-ridden world, it is essential to help the body with its removal of harmful waste products especially for the autistic child.
